I evidently have some sort of disfunction and must hit cmd-D for nearly every page I visit on the web, and if it’s good, I have to do it two or three times to be sure it took. This must have become programmed at some root level, because I’m not really aware of doing it, and yet in the few months since I last cleaned out my bookmarks, I have amassed approximately 8,411 bookmarks. Okay, that’s not approximate, that’s reasonably accurate. Yeah. That’s useful.

I’ve now got 574, which is still about half again too many, but at least gives the illusion of manageability and human scale. Maybe there’s some organizational website with tips on this I can bookmark.
